Morning girl by Jana McLeod
It can be difficult to open up to people about your deepest and darkest emotions. We are often taught in today’s society to suppress our emotions and put on a happy face when we’re experiencing awful and sometimes debilitating inner turmoil.
I have found looking at other people’s art where words are not necessary, is a much less threatening feeling than having to give words to what is going on inside your head.
Connecting with a piece of art can trigger so many emotions and can be a wonderful way to help release the sometimes very dark and depressing thoughts we carry around unable to verbalize.
Today I am sharing some incredible pieces of art that I know will connect with a lot of you for whatever reasons. Some of these are very confronting and may cause triggers so please be careful and mindful before reading the post.
I will put some contact numbers at the bottom of the post for anyone that may need them.
Love and light to all.

Dark Angel of Misery by DreadJim
No angel is more beautiful than the ones that have fallen, becoming one with humanity, and realizing the fears in life. Falling down and feeling helpless is raw, it’s real and it’s part of any journey in life.
The Vicious cycle of Domestic Violence. Pierce the Veil feat. Kellin Quinn
Please, won’t you push me for the last time, let’s scream until there’s nothing left, I am so sick of playing I don’t want this anymore. The thought of you is no fun. Do you want a martyr? I’ll be one because enough’s enough we’re done.

Violence Against Children and the Emotional Abuse of Children.
Their minds are fragile, they absorb everything we say. Filling their minds with hate at such a young age can destroy them mentally. Words are powerful, they can be forgiven, but never forgotten. Physical abuse can leave such deep scars that carry on with the child till adulthood, and the child can sometimes become the abuser.
Children exposed to family violence are more likely to develop social, emotional, psychological and or behavioral problems than those who are not. Recent research indicates that children who witness domestic violence show more anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, anger and temperament problems.

TO A NARCISSIST, YOU’RE A MERE OBJECT
What a vile trade-off and a vivid description that a narcissist maintains supply from past targets while love bombing and manipulating a new supply who is totally unaware of the truth. It is all a series of betrayals where no one person in a narc’s life is more than an object – but the narcissist is very adept and skillful at manipulating everybody involved.-After Narcissistic Abuse – There is Light, Life & Love
Silent and feeling suicidal
Anxiety and depression
Your mind is sometimes your most dangerous enemy…people don’t seem to always understand that sometimes there’s no cure either…and that’s dangerous.
Panic attacks in your sleep.
She could feel it. That… Thing. It was slowly choking her, and it had already won. After all, she couldn’t wake up.
